About the project

Lollipop Lane is an award-winning charming VR platform game where players guide a candy ball through a sky-high maze by tilting their heads. Originally created as a space-themed maze for a hackathon, the game was re-skinned to feature a fun candyland theme for a client. Players navigate through the maze, collecting candy coins along the way, and earn points for successfully completing the level. The game was designed to be quick and easy, ideal for events where kids can line up and play without needing extensive instructions.

Technology

Built in Unity using C#, Lollipop Lane was optimized for Gear VR headsets and Samsung mobile devices, requiring high performance to ensure a smooth experience. The game’s controls are intuitive requiring no tutorial — players tilt their heads to tilt the platform and move the candy ball through the maze. The level ends with a celebratory screen displaying the player’s completion time and a spot on the leaderboard, adding an element of fun competition.
